Each of the 4 trials is cited with journal, year, design and sample size, and each article ends with the papers it leans on and a line saying which claim each one supports. A figure with no source does not go on the site.
One of the four trials found no effect on anything it measured. It appears at the same size as the others, in the same table, on the evidence page and in the articles. A page that prints only the wins is an advert.
Every study carries an independence column: independent, manufacturer-linked, or unclear. Two of the four are manufacturer-linked, including the one the brand advertises. No other site publishing this product prints that column.
The 12 field reports are cut for length at the start, the end and sometimes the middle. No sentence is reworded, no quote is composed from more than one person, and nothing is AI-generated. Anonymous screenshots are left out: if we cannot say who said it, it does not go up. The source conversations are archived and can be produced.
Reports framing the gel as treatment for an injury or a named condition were excluded, however persuasive. It is a cosmetic gel for training. We do not publish claims we would not defend to a regulator.
No trial has measured intramuscular carnosine in humans after topical use. No trial has measured soreness, recovery or sleep. A fifth trial is reported to exist and is not verified. All three sentences are on the site, not in a footnote.
Tell us what is wrong and link the source that shows it. Factual errors are corrected within seven days, the page records what changed and on what date, and the correction is not quietly folded into a rewrite.
